Interval drag-and-drop 4.3

• Increased drop tolerance for the topmost note in each clef (high G in treble, high B in bass).

Keys & Scales 3.5

• Fixed discrepancies between the selected answer and the correct answer in some questions.
• The issue was caused by the backend not correctly registering the # character, which disrupted the image naming structure and caused an incorrect image to be assigned to the question. This has now been fixed.

Exam Mode navigation bar

• On mobile, the question navigation bar could stack into multiple rows and take up most of the screen. It's now a single row that scrolls horizontally instead.
• The current question stays in view automatically as you move through the exam.
• Added support for scrolling and dragging the bar with a mouse, in addition to touch.

Fresher mock exam papers

Every mock exam paper now draws on a wider spread of notes, intervals, and terms across its questions, so each attempt feels more varied. This applies across several sections:

Rhythm 1.3

• Questions draw on a broader mix of time signatures and note values.

Keys & Scales 3.5, 3.6

• Questions draw on a broader mix of starting notes and clefs.

Intervals 4.1, 4.2, 4.3

• 4.1 & 4.2 ("name this interval" / "name the interval type") draw on a broader mix of starting notes and interval sizes. Double sharps and double flats appear at most once each, combined across both. Compound intervals (9th and above) appear at most twice, combined across both.
• 4.3 (drag-and-drop interval) always covers a different starting note each time, a mix of treble and bass clef, and a mix of interval qualities (major or perfect, minor, augmented, diminished) — with exactly one sharp and one flat starting note alongside two natural ones.

Cadences 5.2

• Cadence questions draw on a mix of cadence types (perfect, imperfect, plagal).

Terms, Signs & Instruments 6.1

• Questions draw on a broader mix of musical terms.

This applies to Exam Mode — both the free sample paper and full papers for subscribers. Drill Mode is unaffected.
